Green Lanot, a Black male, age 29, was shot during the dark, early-morning hours of July 1, 2025, inside a home on the 1500 block of Flagami Terrace in Deltona after an argument escalated. Deputies said the confrontation was between Green Lanot, 29, and another man; during the dispute, a single bullet struck Green Lanot, 29, in the abdomen. His girlfriend rushed him to a hospital in Orange City around 3 a.m., and he was later transferred to a Sanford hospital for surgery.
