George Maddox IV, 43, a male and Black/African American resident of Vallejo, was killed on August 18, 2025, after gunfire erupted on Amelia Street in North Vallejo. Police were called just after 9:30 p.m. and found two men with gunshot wounds; one was pronounced dead at the scene and the other died at a local hospital. The Solano County Coroner’s Office later identified the victims as George Maddox IV, 43, and Sean White, 43.
