Anastashia Morales, 18, a female identified as Hispanic/Latina, boarded a late-night Metro bus ride that should have been ordinary and uneventful. It was August 22, 2025, in Los Angeles, and the Line 115 bus rolled through the Westchester neighborhood near Manchester and Belford. An argument flared between her boyfriend and another passenger.
