On April 18, 2007, 56-year-old Loy Smith was killed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Smith was shot multiple times in what appeared to be a targeted attack. His body was discovered later, but details regarding the motive or suspects remain scarce. Authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances of his death, though it remains unsolved. As with many cases in Las Vegas, law enforcement continues to encourage any witnesses or those with information to come forward to aid in solving the case.
