Robert William Abeyta Jr., a 43-year-old man, died after being shot in the early morning hours of September 2, 2025, on the 3800 block of San Pablo Avenue in Emeryville. Police were called around 1:12 a.m. for reports of gunfire and found a male victim who was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities later identified him as Robert William Abeyta Jr., 43, whose last known address was in Oakland.
