Levern Hill, a 32-year-old male, Black/African American, was shot during late-afternoon hours on September 6, 2025, in Los Angeles’s Westlake neighborhood near MacArthur Park. According to police and subsequent media reports, an argument escalated, shots were fired, and the assailant fled the block on a scooter as daylight faded over South Westlake Avenue.
