In the festive early hours of New Year's Day 2008, 20-year-old Hispanic female Mariela Moreno was dropped off at her Henderson, Nevada, home after a night of celebration with her boyfriend, Isidro Garduno. He later told her family that he saw her head towards the front door but didn't wait to see her go inside before driving away. That was the last time anyone reported seeing her alive.
