Taylor Dudley Stewart, a 26-year-old White/Caucasian female from Hamilton, Alabama, was shot to death on Friday evening, August 15, 2025, inside a home in the 700 block of Stewart Road. Deputies and investigators said the gunfire also struck her nearly two-year-old daughter, who was rushed out of state for emergency care. The scene—a back bedroom where both victims had been shot multiple times—was described by the sheriff as among the most tragic he had witnessed.
