Faith Hathaway, an 18-year-old white female from Mandeville, Louisiana, was tragically murdered on May 28, 1980. She had recently graduated from high school and was preparing to enlist in the U.S. Army the following day. On the night before her departure, she went out to celebrate and was last seen outside the Lakefront Theatre, a disco in Mandeville. There, she accepted a ride from two men—Robert Lee Willie and Joseph Vaccaro—who instead of taking her home, abducted her.
