Myrtle Luce, a 95-year-old white female, died in February 1987 in Walker, Kent County, Michigan. She was one of five elderly women murdered at the Alpine Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a resident. The victims, including Luce, were all suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's disease and were targeted while under care. The deaths were part of a chilling series of murders carried out by two nurse's aides employed at the facility: Catherine Wood and Gwendolyn Graham.
