Marguerite Chambers, a 60-year-old white female, died on February 16, 1987, at the Alpine Manor Nursing Home in Walker, Michigan. She had been a long-term resident suffering from Alzheimer’s disease for 14 years. Initially believed to have died of natural causes, her death later became the subject of a criminal investigation when suspicions arose about a series of unexplained fatalities at the facility.
