Death by Force

On June 7, 2020, Patricia Loeza, a 26-year-old Latino female, was found dead in Rancho Dominguez, California. Her body was discovered on a dirt embankment east of the Compton Creek bed, north of Del Amo Boulevard, just after midnight. She had sustained multiple stab wounds to her upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene. Patricia Loeza was believed to be experiencing homelessness and may have been living in an encampment near the creek bed at the time of her death.
