Sixty-year-old female Amelia Boyer, a white woman from Benton Harbor, Michigan, was one of several victims in a string of brutal murders that shocked the community in early 1965. She was last seen alive on March 27, 1965, reportedly abducted from Ruth’s Laundromat on South Fair Avenue.
