On July 15, 1975, the body of 24-year-old female victim Arleen Ruth Salcedo was discovered in a field approximately two miles south of Blissfield, Michigan. Arleen, who was of Puerto Rican descent and originally from Adrian, Michigan, had been missing for some time before her decomposing remains were found on September 22, 1975. Due to the advanced state of decomposition, authorities were unable to determine the exact cause of death at the time, and the case remained unsolved for decades.
