On October 9, 1976, not 1977, 24-year-old white female Robin Fry and her husband Jay Fry, also 24, were murdered in Lincoln, Illinois. The couple, who were expecting their first child, were shot and killed in what authorities later connected to a series of violent crimes in the area.
