Leo Nordean Cashatt Jr., a 45-year-old White male, was a coin-shop owner in Spokane, Washington. On July 14, 1987, his life was cut tragically short when he was murdered in his shop, Cashatt Coins. His wife made the devastating discovery of his body; he had been shot in the head. The manner of his death was consistent with a string of similar violent crimes that targeted coin shops across the western United States.
