On the night of June 13, 1975, 19-year-old white female Nancy Lee Fox from West Palm Beach, Florida, was last seen walking alone to a local laundromat. Two days later, on June 15, her body was discovered floating in a canal that runs parallel to Highway 27 in Broward County. The young woman had been struck on the back of the head with a blunt object and choked before her body was discarded in the water.
