On November 18, 1987, in the small town of Ina, Illinois, a horrific crime unfolded that would leave a lasting scar on the community. Among the victims was a newborn white female named Casey Elaine Dardeen, who was born during the course of a brutal attack on her family and died within moments of her birth.
