Delores Dewitt, a 42-year-old African American woman and nurse, was found dead alongside her 20-year-old daughter, Ebony Dewitt, on March 16, 2009, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Their bodies were discovered in a burning car that had been reported stolen earlier that day.
