On March 6, 1980, Debra Cruse, a 22-year-old Caucasian woman, was found dead alongside her sister, Beverly Cruse, a 25-year-old Caucasian woman, in an apartment located in the 3200 block of Overland Avenue in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles.
