On March 6, 1980, the bodies of 25-year-old female victim Beverly Cruse and her 22-year-old sister, Debra Cruse, were discovered in an apartment on Overland Avenue in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Both women were found by their brother after he became concerned when he hadn’t heard from them. The victims, both white females, had each been shot in the head three times.
