On May 11, 2013, 62-year-old Ronald Gray was found suffering from multiple stab wounds near the Salvation Army at 33 W. Owens Avenue, Las Vegas. Gray, a homeless man, was discovered by authorities late that night and was immediately transported to a hospital, where he passed away the following day. The case went unsolved for several years until a major break occurred in 2018 when a man named Eric Jesus Martinez flagged down a Los Angeles deputy and confessed to the killing.
