Do you know what happened to Robert Hollimon? Robert Hollimon, 48, a Black male, was known by friends as “Joey.” Late on February 29, 2016, he told friends he had been jumped around 11 p.m. by two men near the El Cortez parking garage in downtown Las Vegas. The assault, he said, spilled into the alley behind the 7-Eleven at Fremont Street and 15th, where the beating continued. He was later taken to Sunrise Medical Center with a severe head injury.
By March 2, 2016, Hollimon succumbed to his injuries and was declared brain dead.
