Linda Lou Herrera, a 48-year-old woman, was tragically killed on June 15, 1989, in her Muskegon Heights, Michigan home. She was found alongside her daughter, Cynthia Lou Herrera Means, 30, who had suffered multiple stab wounds. Linda Herrera had been shot once in the chest and stabbed 15 times. A handgun, which had been fired once before jamming, was discovered hidden in a couch at the crime scene.
