Virginia McGinnis had a history of suspicious deaths among close family members, including her own daughter and former husband, from which she also benefited financially. However, it was not until the murder of Deana Wild that authorities gathered enough evidence to convict her. Virginia McGinnis was sentenced to life in prison for Wild's murder and died in custody on June 25, 2011, at the age of 74.
