Hannah Baygents was fatally shot outside a hotel parking lot in northeast Houston on January 25, 2025. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 4:50 p.m. on the 17607 Eastex Freeway, where they found Baygents with a gunshot wound. She was later pronounced dead.
A suspect, Romeo Deshawn Senegal, 26, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
Reports indicate that an argument preceded the incident, though further details on the nature of the dispute have not been disclosed. Senegal is currently being held on a $200,000 bond and is expected to appear in court soon.
