On the morning of January 29, 2025, law enforcement in Plantersville, Texas, responded to a report of a male with a gunshot wound at a residence on Blue Lake Drive. Despite efforts by multiple agencies, including the Grimes County Sheriff's Office, Todd Mission Police Department, Navasota Police Department, Grimes County District Attorney's Office, Grimes County Constable Precinct 3, and the Texas Rangers, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
