The incident took place around 4:09 a.m. in the 1900 block of North 1st Street, near Miller Park. Upon arrival, police officers found Marcos Humberto Anaya Jr. with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly thereafter, they learned that Tristan Deon Martin had been transported to the hospital by a friend, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
