Robert Solo, a 67-year-old man, was fatally shot in his home on Main Street in Avoca, Pennsylvania, during the early hours of January 11, 2025. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 4:00 a.m., where they discovered Solo with multiple gunshot wounds. The Luzerne County Coroner later confirmed that his death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy conducted on January 13, 2025.
