Glen Davis, a 66-year-old man from San Leon, Texas, was shot and killed while riding his bicycle on FM-517 near Avenue N in Texas City on May 9, 2025. Officers from the Texas City Police Department responded to reports of an unconscious man on the shoulder of the road. Upon arrival, they discovered that Davis had suffered gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
