Joshua Smith, a 34-year-old man, was fatally shot in Cincinnati, Ohio, on February 9, 2025. The incident occurred around 4:25 p.m. on Maplewood Avenue in the Mt. Auburn neighborhood. Cincinnati Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Smith suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures before transporting him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
