On May 9, 2025, Dustin Charles Boroff, age 42, was found deceased at 16023 Kildeer Point Drive in Cypress, Texas. Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene around 8:00 AM that Friday morning, where they discovered Boroff on the floor of the home. Investigators determined that he had sustained at least one gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting death.
As of the initial investigation, no arrests have been made in connection with the case. Law enforcement has requested that anyone with information regarding the incident contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit or Crime Stoppers of Houston.
Boroff leaves behind his wife Crystal, three daughters - Charleigh Reagan, and Parker Boroff - as well as his grandson Blaine Linder. He is also survived by his parents Mark and Beth Boroff, his sister April Lorenz, three nephews, and his uncle David. A celebration of life service has been scheduled for Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Church in Cypress.
