Edgar Contreras, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was shot during the predawn hours of February 16, 2017, after a confrontation between occupants of two vehicles near Stewart Place Park in the northeast Las Vegas Valley. Police were called around 3:30 a.m. to the 3400 block of Marquette Drive, near Pecos and Gowan.
