Gustavo Godinez-Carcamo, a 40-year-old man, was fatally shot in the driveway of his home in Central Islip, New York, on the night of March 15, 2025. According to authorities, he was sitting in a parked vehicle outside his residence at 10 Anne Lane when a passenger inside the vehicle shot him at approximately 11:52 p.m. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Emergency responders transported Godinez-Carcamo to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
