On May 1, 2025, tragedy struck in Columbus, Ohio, when Giannh Viars, a 21-year-old white female, was fatally shot in what authorities have described as a double murder-suicide. The incident unfolded at an apartment complex on Esquire Drive, where Viars lived. According to police reports, Viars had been separated from her estranged husband, Michael Hughes, a 23-year-old white male. In the time following their separation, Viars had begun dating Aiden David, a 19-year-old white male.
