On May 5, 2025, 18-year-old African American male Jaeden Smith was fatally shot in Forest Park, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 700 block of Northland Boulevard. According to police reports, Smith had gone to the residence of 38-year-old Domynic Elahee to address an issue involving his 7-year-old brother, who had reportedly been bullied by Elahee's 11-year-old son.
