Elizabeth City police are investigating the death of Gideon C. Griffin Jr., a 45-year-old male, who was found deceased in his apartment at Walker Landing Apartments on the night of May 9, 2025. Authorities responded to a call at approximately 11:30 p.m. reporting a shooting at the complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Gideon C. Griffin Jr. inside his residence.
