Keontae Dewayne Colbert, a 17-year-old male from Escatawpa, Mississippi, was found dead from a gunshot wound on the night of February 3, 2025. His body was discovered by Jackson County sheriff's deputies on Wildwood Road off Highway 63 in the Escatawpa community. Authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, which led to the arrest of two teenagers from the Mississippi Coast.
