On March 12, 2025, 33-year-old Dare Michael David Kinney, a white male, was found deceased in his home on Woods Avenue in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Police were dispatched at 8:39 p.m. after a concerned family member requested a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers found the residence secured and, after forcing entry, discovered Kinney and his cousin, 31-year-old Chad Daniel Wooten, both deceased from apparent unnatural causes.
