In the quiet town of Kensington, Maryland, the life of 29-year-old Trevor Dean Van Devander was abruptly cut short on the evening of Monday, January 13, 2025. A resident of Sykesville, Van Devander was fatally shot in what authorities have described as an altercation that turned deadly. The incident unfolded inside a residence on the 3900 block of Franklin Street.
