On a tragic Christmas Eve in Oxford, Michigan, Dr. Barbara Wolf, a respected 71-year-old clinical psychologist and educator, was fatally shot. The incident occurred on December 24, 2024, when Wolf, accompanied by her 38-year-old daughter, stopped to offer assistance to a man they believed was a stranded motorist. Instead of receiving help, both women were shot. Dr. Wolf succumbed to her injuries, while her daughter was wounded and is expected to survive.
