Ricardo Clemons Jr., a 45-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on March 1, 2025, in Hyattsville, Maryland. The incident occurred at a McDonald's restaurant located on University Boulevard. Authorities responded to reports of an altercation at the establishment around 8:25 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Clemons Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound.
