Melissa Hattar, a 45-year-old woman from Westland, Michigan, was found dead in her home on April 15, 2025. Authorities identified her as one of two victims in what appears to be a tragic murder-suicide. The other deceased individual was Joseph King, a 52-year-old man who also resided at the same address. The incident took place at their residence in the Surrey Heights neighborhood.
