On the evening of September 6, 2026, the life of 18-year-old Monica Rose Rokita was tragically cut short in a Westland, Michigan apartment she had recently started sharing with her boyfriend. A recent graduate of River Rouge High School, Monica was described by friends as sweet, caring, and full of life.
