In the quiet community of Lily, Kentucky, the life of 63-year-old Douglas Harless was tragically cut short on the night of December 23, 2024. Harless, a hardworking man employed by Winterwood, Inc., was at his residence at 511 Vanzant Road when officers from the London Police Department arrived to execute a search warrant. The warrant, however, was intended for a different address, 489 Vanzant Road, located just 250 feet away, in connection with the theft of a weed eater and a heater.
