Abraham Chavez, a 21-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot on December 29, 2024, in Lakewood, California. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Alburtis Avenue and 207th Street. Authorities formally pronounced his death at 8:30 p.m. The Los Angeles County coroner's office confirmed that the manner of death was homicide, with the cause being gunshot wounds to the back.
