Death by Force

Jeramiah Lee, a 19-year-old male, was fatally shot inside a home in the Washington Park neighborhood of Chicago on January 28, 2025. The incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. in the 5300 block of South Wabash Avenue. Lee was inside the residence along with another victim, 19-year-old Daquan Walters, when an unknown assailant opened fire. Both young men suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
