Tony Bernard Herron Jr., an 18-year-old Omaha resident, was tragically shot and killed on June 13, 2008. Despite the passage of time, his murder remains unsolved, leaving his family and community without closure. Herron's death occurred in an area that has seen numerous incidents of gun violence, and like many similar cases, investigations have struggled to gather sufficient leads to solve the crime.
