Ryan Harmon, a 14-year-old White/Caucasian male from Los Angeles, California, was tragically shot in the head on Saturday, January 18, 2025. He was transported to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he remained on life support until his passing on January 21, 2025, at 2:47 p.m. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head.
Following his death, Ryan's family made the compassionate decision to donate his organs, including his
heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and pancreas, thereby saving multiple lives. A GoFundMe campaign titled "Honoring Ryan: A Legacy of Life and Love" was established to assist with funeral and hospital expenses and to support causes meaningful to Ryan.
As of now, no arrests have been reported in connection with the shooting of Ryan Harmon. Law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
