On the night of February 6, 2025, 20-year-old Black male Tavari Scott Sinclair was found fatally shot on a sidewalk in Compton, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Compton Station responded to the 400 block of North Long Beach Boulevard at approximately 10:55 p.m., where they discovered Sinclair's body.
